Le village de Cutar est accessible à pied (environ 800 m) pour les nécessités de base, des bars locaux et un restaurant. D'autres commerces se trouvent à Velez-Málaga, à environ 25 minutes en voiture. A proximité se trouve également le village d'Almachar (10 min) et les vins de ce village sont fortement recommandés. Si vous avez plutôt envie d'aller à la plage, Torre del Mar est la plus proche, à environ 30 min. C'est aussi un excellent point de départ pour des excursions d'une journée à Malaga, Grenade, Antequera ou au Caminito del Rey.

Dans le village de Hondon De Las Nieves, il y a un marché très fréquenté les mercredis et samedis, avec des petits cafés confortables et des restaurants sur la place. Villes des environs : Aspe : 12 km, Elche : 18 km, Alicante : 35 km, Murcie : 55 km ; toutes valent le détour.
