The house can be found a 30 minute drive from Tau, a village connected with Stavanger by ferry. The house was built in 1928 but has been renovated several times since - the last time was 2016. There is plenty of space for 10 people. The house fits two families with a 50 m2 living room and a spacious kitchen with a large dining table. The kitchen was renovated in 2016. After a fishing trip you can gut the fish using the table with running water by the dock, and then put it in the large freezer. There are large terraces with a view of the fjord on both sides of the house, with comfortable outdoor furniture. There is a washing machine in the basement, where you also find space for storing fishing equipment and clothes. You are allowed to bring pets in to the house, as the basement is set up for this. Famous attractions like The Pulpit Rock, Lysefjorden and Jøsefjorden are a quick ride away, but at the same time you can withdraw from the tourists in the house. The area is suitable for lovely bicycle rides. In September you can taste some of the delicious fruit from the orchard - for free! October is a month of beautiful autumn colours and plenty of fish in the fjord. There is a private sandy beach for this house and unit 29369 (found in the basement of the house). Parking space for several cars. A steady and safe boat is available for rent, a Pioneer 15 ft. It must be booked well in advance. There are also two kayaks for rent, NOK 200 per day.
