A charming holiday cottage with a view of the sea, located in a sunny and peaceful area with only a couple of minutes walk to the dock where you find the boats. A 17 ft Rana 530 boat with a 40 hp and 4 stroke motor and sonar (more expensive because of its sonar screen and more fuel efficient), and another 17 ft Rana 530 boat with 40 hp 2-stroke motor and sonar, are available for rent. The area is famous for its excellent fishing conditions, and its untouched islands with small bays and beaches. This area offers all kinds of nature experiences. Parking space by the cottage with space for 3 cars. Approx. 7 km to the town of Mandal or to several child-friendly beaches. Toaster and ceramic range stove. It is not possible to bring your own boat. Boat rental is not possible between October 1st and March 31st because of weather conditions. Approx. 330 m from the shores of Bogense you will find this holiday cottage in 2 levels with views of the lakes and the small islands in the distance. From the ground floor there is access to 2 terraces, one partly covered with furniture. From 1st floor there is also access to 2 balconies also with furniture of which one overlookings the water. There are four bedrooms, one on 1st floor with direct access to the west facing balcony, the other three bedrooms are on the ground level. On the 1st floor you will also find the large bright combined living/dining room and the kitchen, which has direct access to the balcony, where you can move the cooking outside and use the grill. During winter in March, the annual cod fishing attracts many fishing vessels. You may fish yourself or visit the local fishing villages to watch the fishermen arrive with their catch. Moskenesøya has an impressive nature that is perfect for hiking. Follow the old hiking trail that crosses the mountain to the west side of the island, with splendid sandy beaches and lookout spots. The mountain has several fishing lakes and is great for hunting game during autumn. 6 km to the municipality capital Ramberg further north, with restaurants and shops. Here you will find one of Lofoten's most popular beaches. On stormy days the big waves hitting the beach are fascinating to watch. Enjoy the fresh and salty ocean air from the open sea. Visit the fishing village Sund to the east with its beautiful wrought iron art. To the north is the Glasblower Center in Vikten with its glass art. From here, follow a walking path along the sea to a headland that gives you the most incredible view of the ocean and the midnight sun. This large and beautiful house is located in the beautiful Glasriket (Glass Kingdom), where your house will be a good starting point for a successful vacation. The house is spacious and well-kept with a large living and dining area. The large roofed patio is a wonderful place to sit and relax. Here you can track the wildlife and cattle on the other side of a small road. There is also a horse farm further away where the children can pet the horses.
