Welcome to this lovely holiday home set by lake Finjasjön. The cottage is set on a beautiful, natural forest plot and has all you need for a comfortable, relaxing, countryside holiday. The cottage features a spacious hall, and an open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen area is well equipped, featuring all the necessary amenities as well as a dishwasher. Welcome to beautiful Lisö, set in the archipelago of Stockholm. This holiday home is set only 500 metres from the seaside, on an elevated, hilly, forest plot of 8500 square metres. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen, equipped with the basic amenities, and a living room with a fireplace. There are two bedrooms, each one equipped with a bunk bed. You will find the bathroom in the separate annex, it is equipped with a separett-style toilet (a water-free composting and urine diverting toilet) and a washbasin. You will find the sauna and the shower in the next building. The sauna may be used as per agreement with your landlord. The cottage has a small wooden terrace ad a furnished outdoor area where you can relax and have a coffee whilst enjoying the peace and quiet. You share the large garden plot with your landlord but you have plenty of space and privacy. The area is called Grytnäs and is located on the cape of Lisö . The area offers plenty of beautiful sights and places to visit, such as the stone quarry on Karta, the harbours on Fifong, the restaurants on Oaxen, and the light house Landsorts Fyr by Öja. The picturesque town of Trosa is well worth a visit. Golfers will enjoy Nynäshamns Golfklubb at Korunda, and surfers will enjoy the coast by Torö. The city of Stockholm is only an hour's drive away. Stockholm is well known for it's beauty and it's historical sites. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! This lovely holiday home is located on a former farm in beautiful Österlen. The main house has a pleasant atmosphere with beamed ceilings and wooden floors. The large property provides ample space for comfortable barbecue evenings and many family activities on the large grassy areas around the property. There are many opportunities for an array of excursions. The lovely white sand beaches at Juleboda, Haväng or Vitemölla can be reached quickly by car. For the golf enthusiast there are a number of fine golf courses in the area. Fishing opportunities are also available in Verkeån and Verkesjön.

Outside there is a sheltered area with furniture, where you can relax while watching boats pass by. There is a grass field and playground where you can play football and volleyball. There is a bathing ladder on the dock, approx. 10 metres from the house. There is plenty of fish to catch, as well as crab and mussels. Good fishing spots can be found marked on a map in the cottage. You can also go ice fishing in winter, in the mountain lakes. There is a river with trout and salmon, with the fishing season opening respectively May 1st and June 20th. The famous pulpit rock is a two hour drive away. Book a use of the sauna (room for 5-6 people) for NOK 50 and the jacuzzi (7 people) for NOK 300 for the first hour, thereafter NOK 100 per hour. Sauna and whirlpool is shared with the other units of the holiday complex.

It is ideal if you want to live central in Lofoten with great possibilities for excursions by car or local bus. 2,5 km to Svolvær, Lofoten's unofficial capital. The harbour has several fine restaurants where you can enjoy delightful local food. This part of Lofoten has many sights. Kabelvåg used to be Lofoten's biggest fishing village, and there are several remains here of Vågar - Northern Norways first city. Lofoten Cathedral is a church made of timber and is worth a visit. The church seats 1200 people and used to be full of fishermen during the annual winterfishing. Furthest south in Lofoten, you can experience a dramatic landscape where the small fishing villages are crammed in between the mountains and the sea.

The owner has thought of the lightning in this holiday home, so as much light possible comes in during the bright month of the year, but there are also many different light sources which makes it very accretive even during winter when it is dark. The closest natural bathing spot is by the beautiful river Emån, about 700m away. Here someone has built a swimming area which is perfectly ok for a dip. The closest distance to Emån is approximately 400m and is perfect if you would like to do some fishing (fishing with fishing rod is free). If you would like a bigger beach there is one only 3km away, alternative a 1,5km walk in the forest to the beautiful lake Vallsjön. Your holiday home is located in the lovely village Rödja on the Smålänska highlands. This is a perfect starting point for discovering most of Småland such as “the world of Astrid Lindgren” and the glassworks. It is also located close to the cities Jönköpnig, Nässjö and Vetlanda. The closest city is Sävsjö (10km) and in this lovely town you will find most what you need during your stay. On the camping grounds 1 km away, you can access a 100 litre freezer and cold-smoker for fish. There is a playground with football goals and a trampoline. In the river you can catch trout and salmon. There you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage all around the island. Another great destination is the old, picturesque town Vadstena. Vadstena was once up for becoming the capital of Sweden, before Stockholm was chosen. King Gustav Vasa built a castle here in the middle ages and it still stands today, in excellent shape. There are also several beautiful old churches and a convent where the Birgitta sisters live. This is the town that Saint Bridget is from and it offers plenty of culture and historical sites. Vadstena is set right by lake Vättern and offers plenty of beautiful sights. Between Ödeshög and Vadstena you will find the ruins of the monastery Alvastra Kloster, set in beautiful surroundings right by the mountain Omberg. Omberg is well worth a visit for those who love walking in beech forests. Kristiansund is a city on many islands known for bacalao and fish restaurants. Visit the fishing village of Grip by ferry, a unique experience. The single beds can be combined. One double bed is 120 cm wide with a bunk bed on top. Two single beds can be combined and the double bed can be split into two beds. There is a double sofa bed in the living room. The house is located below a bridge which is the main approach to Kristiansund, some traffic noise should be expected. There are some power across the bay.
